Karl Rove Channels Chauncey Gardiner
Reading Karl Rove’s explanation of why the McCain/Palin ticket lost, published in today’s Wall Street Journal I was reminded of one my favorite Peter Sellers films, “Being There”. In the movie Sellers plays Chauncey ‘Chance’ Gardiner, a man with no history, no concept of the world, who has been a caretaker of small garden in a Washington mansion for his entire life.
