Don’t start painting those kitty and puppy faces on the children for Halloween. The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics tested a group of children’s face paints and found all contained quantities of lead and the majority contained nickel, cobalt and or chromium in unsafe levels. All the brands are sold in the United States and the group has urged parents to check labels on holiday make-up kits before purchasing.
