While I have fished and hunted in my life and come from a heritage of people who did the same, I realized a long time ago that this is no longer a nation of hunter/gatherers.  Apparently the same realization has not come to the husband of Sawjmteif…no it is not some Native American name she was bestowed with but one that I think is warranted and probably whispered in the backrooms by agonized GOPERS…(She Awaiting John McCain To Expire If Elected).  Todd Palin addressed a group of 75 (the Post Gazette in Pittsburgh, PA called it a CROWD) fellow sportsmen at a gun club as part of a three-event campaign swing through Pennsylvania.

The Alaskan First Dude (Dunce?) told supporters that it is important to have a ticket that “supports our core values — hunting and fishing.” Mr. Palin, who is new to the campaign trail, spoke for only three minutes at the Pitcairn-Monroeville Sportmen’s Club.

He fled into the wilds of the campaign trail and  efforts to track him down and attach a collar by potting him with a tranquilzer gun fired from a low flying plane were unsuccessful.  The vial of brain cells, extracted from people of normal intelligence,` that were going to be injected, in hopes of providing him with the means of avoiding stupid statements, were passed on to the GOPER operatives who hope to use them on their next visit to the White House.
